What many Indian fans don’t realize is that The Witch universe is expanding. Park Hoon-jung is building a shared universe (often called the "World of Witch"). The film quickly becomes a convergence of multiple violent factions: Yong-doo’s gangsters, mysterious government agents hunting the girl, and rival foreign assassins, all desperate to capture or kill the escaped experiment.
