If you are truly using TeamViewer for non-commercial purposes, the official support team can reset your ID for you. This is the only "permanent" fix that won't break with future updates.
Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software and delete the folder.
Switch the radio button to and input a new 12-digit hexadecimal string (using numbers 0-9 and letters A-F). Example: 021A2B3C4D5E .
The screen flickered. The fans on his PC whirred into a high-pitched scream, then fell silent. The TeamViewer icon blinked. When he reopened it, the ID field was a fresh string of digits. He connected. The bridge was open.

These tools work temporarily but often trigger antivirus software (since they manipulate system files). Use at your own risk. Not a "top" long-term solution.
The theory: TeamViewer tracks your network card’s unique ID (MAC address) and files in the Windows Registry.
